How does it work? (Step-by-step for Caregivers)
1. Sign up: Easily create a profile.
2. Search: Specify your preferences and the care institution.
3. Find: View the available host families and their offerings.
4. Request: Submit a request to the host family of your choice.
5. Connect: After acceptance, make arrangements with the host family.
6. Stay: Arrive and focus on what really matters: caring for your loved one and yourself.
Costs
Expense reimbursement for host family: You pay an expense reimbursement of €10 per day directly to the host family (€15 per day if meals are included). This covers their costs and is mutually agreed upon and arranged.
Contribution to Stay Close platform: Stay Close is deliberately non-commercial. After your stay, we ask for a voluntary contribution to the platform ("Pay what you can") - completely according to your own ability and appreciation. Suggestions: €5 - €50 - €150 or another amount of your choice.
